My gift has always been communication

And my ability to create opportunities for solutions that help people thrive - as individuals, in groups and businesses .

My initial training was as an architect and stemmed from a desire to create beauty in places where people lived. My career as a creative artist led me to work on private commissions, in homes, and in museums and galleries, creating beauty, not just to look at, but to serve a purpose in the world.

One day, I realised that everything I created just gathered dust!
In that moment of revelation there came the decision to put away all my tools and empty my studio. From then on, I chose to be an artist
-a teacher - of being, not doing.

During this period I was living in the Philippines, and was recruited to be the Executive Director of a personal development center in Manilla. From there I went on to create workshops and consult on projects in Asia and Europe. I eventually returned home to Scotland, wanting to raise my 3 children in a more natural and unspoiled environment.

Working occasionally as a teacher in schools and colleges has been my secret pleasure and something I do as often as possible. Being around young people and their energy inspires me, and I feel privileged to be able in a position to inspire them with their own potentials, and an expanded worldview.

In all of my work, whether 1:1 or with groups, using games and having fun are a key part of the learning environment I create, as well as the art of paying close attention to the subtleties of individual needs.

Taking these tools of learning into other contexts has opened up my work into a global network of Positive Change. As a coach for business executives, a facilitator of workshops, and as a keynote speaker engaging small and large audiences: in all of these roles, I bring a ‘tender regard’ for human beings.

Since 2003, I have been based in Scotland but travel extensively throughout Europe, Asia and South America, running workshops, teaching, and working on local and global initiatives. A few of my current projects and upcoming workshops can be found here

Another world is not only possible,
she is on her way.
On a clear day I can hear her breathing.
